2018 County Show and Rally - Saturday 26th May

01 February 2018

Planning for the 2018 Oxfordshire Young Farmers County Show and Rally is well underway. The organising committee is working hard to get the message out to sponsors, supporters, exhibitors and the public to make sure this important date is firmly in the diary as the place to be on Saturday 26 May.

The Oxfordshire Young Farmers County Show and Rally is a showcase event for the Young Farmers to celebrate everything they do throughout the year.  It’s also a day of family fun with animals, food and lots of displays, entertainment, craft and trade stands.

The impressive competitions area set up by the Young Farmers Clubs, will showcase the kinds of activities the young people are involved in, with cooking, rural skills, arts and crafts, live entertainment and much more. It’s not surprising that the show enjoys and excellent reputation and attracts such a broad audience.

In Oxfordshire, the Young Farmers Clubs are the county’s largest rural youth organisation for young people aged from 10 to 26 years old. They organise a County Show every year moving to a different part of Oxfordshire each time.

As well as being a registered charity, Young Farmers Clubs contribute over £2m annually to chosen charities throughout the country. The County Show and Rally is their biggest fundraising event.

This year’s County Show and Rally is being held on Saturday 26 May at Ducklington Showground OX29 7YL, off the A415 and within easy reach of Witney. It’s a great venue with easy parking and access directly off the main road.

So, get the date in your diary now, tell your friends and come along for a fabulous day out. We will look forward to seeing you there.
